What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is the therapeutic method using a range of techniques based on relationship building, communication, and behaviour changes.
In my sessions I use CBT techniques and third wave CBT methods such as DBT, ACT, CFT and mindfulness.
Psychotherapy and counselling with me is delivered in a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing space.
Psychotherapy for young people
I’m a registered Children’s Nurse and CBT Therapist for Children, Teens and Families, and have worked alongside children of all ages.
Sessions can take place in the setting that feels safest for your child. I pride myself on being accessible and adaptable to my client’s needs.
If you have any concerns about the psychotherapy process I am happy to discuss these with you.
